The HOA will be decorating the entryway at Belt Line Rd again this holiday season. We ask that you bring your energy and good spirits out on November 18th at 10 am to the board member string Christmas Lights and tidy up the entryway. Next year, we hope to decorate the entrance at Cockrell Hill Rd.

We will be updating you on what’s happening in our community (zoning proposals, crime, etc), new avenues of communication, community involvement, and more.

You may have noticed a zoning change sign posted on the vacant land on Cockrell Hill. The proposal is for a mini storage facility to be built. The Planning and Zoning Commission will be meeting TUESDAY, September 12th in regards to the proposed change. If you would like your voice heard by the Commission, please plan to attend the meeting at 6:30 pm. You are also welcome to call the board or your council representative.
Please join us on Tuesday, August 1, for the annual Desoto Night Out. We will be at Elerson Park, 7 pm.

Tuesday morning, the Parks Department erected a sign with the hours of use including prohibited activity at Elerson Park. This sign is located at the walkway entering the park since there is no actual parking lot.
If rhere are individuals disturbing the neighborhood after hours at the park, please contact Dispatch at the non-emergency number (972-223-6111).

During our last Community Meeting, it was brought to our attention that there were some alley lights that need bulbs replaced. Oncor Electric has an online report form to report any street light outage.
